The Assistance Service is there to help you 24 hours a day should a medical or personal emergency occur. Always contact the Assistance Service IN THE FIRST INSTANCE if an emergency occurs. Your family may also contact them in regard to emergencies at home. You should also contact the Assistance Service if you are, for example, to be admitted to hospital, you cannot contact a doctor, one of your Next of Kin in Your Country of Origin is seriously ill or death has occurred or you require prior approval for a surgical procedure out of normal office hours or when you are overseas. In the event that repatriation is required a death or medical certificate or other official validation will be necessary.
The Assistance Service will require to know:- 1. Name of Insured 2. Contact phone number 3. Insurance policy number 4. Details of the emergency
